Abstract
⺠We study the control and regularization of irregular motion of a vehicle moving through the series of signals positioned at disordered intervals. ⺠We present the nonlinear dynamic model of the vehicular motion controlled by traffic signals. ⺠We propose the control method for regularizing the irregular motion by synchronizing the phase shift with the disordered intervals. ⺠We find that the irregular motion induced by the disordered configuration of signals is regularized for various values of the cycle time.
