Abstract
⺠We propose a game-theoretic model on conflicts among evacuees. ⺠A new framework to study the evolution of conflicts in evacuation is established. ⺠Simulation results show that rationality leads to vying and inhibits politeness. ⺠High herding causes a crowd with high rationality more vying in normal conditions. ⺠High-rationality crowd will spend more evacuation time in emergency situations.
