Abstract
⺠In this paper we discussed using timefrequency analysis (TF) the visualization of neonatal EEG signals. ⺠Among many kernels used, we found ChoiWilliams & Modified Bdistribution are the most suitable for EEG analysis. ⺠Different background states show different timefrequency compositions. ⺠Normal EEG background states show no obvious pattern in the timefrequency domain.
