Abstract
⺠We studied decoherence in the Quantum Walk on the line. ⺠The decoherence is introduced either through periodic measurements or broken links. ⺠Periodic measurements drive the system to classical diffusive behavior. ⺠Periodic measurements allow to build a quantum analog of the spin-flip game. ⺠Depending on how links are broken may drive the system to Markovian behavior.
