Abstract
⺠The temporal scaling feature of purchase orders is investigated in this paper. ⺠The individual behavior shows a power-law shape with approximate exponent 2.0. ⺠The group behavior follows a mixing distribution of power-law and exponential. ⺠A model of group dynamics driven by product life cycle is proposed. ⺠The model provides a new approach to forecast the amount of purchase orders in supply chain management.
