Abstract
⺠The generalized iterated conditional modes method for image segmentation is proposed. ⺠The method is based on Tsallis statistics. ⺠The proposed method reaches a global minimum energy point although the iteration number remains the same. ⺠Better results were obtained in comparison with the iterated conditional modes method.
