Abstract
⺠We study the transition points in the processes of the multi-resolution methods. ⺠We display the limitation of the multi-resolution methods. ⺠We give the condition that the limitation appears in networks. ⺠The limitation is closely related to the difference between the community sizes. ⺠All the results are confirmed by the theoretical analysis and experimental tests.
