Abstract
⺠The ROUP is the simplest and best controlled model of transport at bounded velocity. ⺠This is the first detailed study of thermalization induced by the ROUP. ⺠Thermalization induced by the ROUP is slower than standard thermalization at unbounded velocity. ⺠The spectrum of the operator controlling the thermalization has both a discrete and a continuous component.
