Abstract
► Random mobility on the evolution of cooperation in the spatial N-IPD game is studied. ► We show that cooperation can be maintained in a population of mobile agents. ► Cooperation levels could even be enhanced when the range of movement is limited. ► Mobility also promotes a faster convergence rate compared to the never-move case.
