⺠Gaussian mixture distributions cannot be distinguished from Laplace distributions. ⺠The scaling relationship between the standard deviation of growth rates and the size of the firms is likely to be an artefact. ⺠Gibrat's law is confirmed when using a large homogeneous dataset.
