Abstract
⺠We investigate the effects of consumption function and preference on wealth distribution. ⺠Consumption strategy can have a dramatic effect on wealth distribution. ⺠We indicate nonlinear consumption function may be possible origin to distribution in accordance with empirical data. ⺠Besides, anti-degree preference and consumption promotion can reduce inequality in wealth distribution. ⺠This provides an effective method to design consumption strategy in real economy.
