Abstract
⺠Time variant scaling behavior in rainfall series in Argentina from 1860 to 2006 by the DFA is revealed. ⺠Eastern stations show visible crossovers between persistent and random behavior. ⺠North-western stations are characterized by random behavior approximately at any time. ⺠One station (i.e. Corrientes) shows several crossovers from persistent to random behavior. ⺠The obtained results can be interpreted in the context of the climatological conditions of Central Argentina.
