Abstract
⺠Congestion mitigation in traffic flows simulated with advanced travel information. ⺠Three-phase theory applied to a two-lane highway with an off-ramp and an on-ramp. ⺠Congestion at the on-ramp bottleneck reduced by diversion to the off-ramp. ⺠Restrictions on lane changing near the on-ramp improves flow.
