Abstract
⺠We show the connection between temporal discounting and probabilistic choice based on psychophysics. ⺠We derived a generalized probability weighting function based on psychophysical laws. ⺠We show that Prelec's probability weighting function and Rachlin's probability discounting function are special cases of the general probability weighting function.
