Abstract
⺠We find front distances of pedestrians that affect average walking speed. ⺠The bi-directional flows of walking speed-density models were developed. ⺠An influencing length in the range of 5-8 m yield the highest R2. ⺠The walking speed of the equally-split flow was higher than other split flow.
