Abstract
⺠We explore a new connection between quantum groups and Tsallis entropy. ⺠We determine the q-entropy using a SUq(2) invariant Hamiltonian. ⺠The entropic parameter q is identified with the deformation parameter of SUq(2). ⺠A q-entropic sufficient criterion for entanglement to Werner state is obtained.
