Abstract
⺠A Curzon-Ahlborn engine with a different work substance. ⺠We examine the engine's dynamic and thermodynamic properties. ⺠Both power output and efficiency of the engine are decreasing functions of Ï. ⺠This engine has half of Carnot's efficiency when λvW=1. ⺠A critical point of stability is found.
