Abstract
⺠In this study we calibrate an individual's stochastic health evolution model. ⺠We construct a health status index to describe an individual's health status. ⺠We construct a health risk factor system to classify individuals into risk groups. ⺠We calibrate the health evolution model by using the NHIS data. ⺠Validation using the HRS data displays good properties of the calibrated model.
