Abstract
⺠Two perception ranges are incorporated into the bi-directional CA model. ⺠Two methods are utilized to distinguish the synchronized traffic flow. ⺠Perception range and slow-to-start sensitivity both affect the synchronized flow. ⺠Honk stimulus and larger perception ranges both benefit the stability of traffic flow.
