Abstract
⺠Simulation model of mixed car and single-file bicycle traffic. ⺠Nagel-Schreckenberg cellular automaton model extended to include lateral interactions. ⺠New discrete spatial model for intersections and other complex road network features. ⺠Two scenarios: (i) stretch of road and (ii) 'inner' turn for cars. ⺠Results: flows and phase diagrams as function of arrival rates and model parameters.
