Abstract
The study of La Chaise's pebble industry, notably in quartzite, who represent about one third of the lithic collection, is unpublished. Its objective is to understand the reasons of the use of this material for the preparation of part of the tools. Thanks to the use of an adapted method, humans' operating process is reconstituted. Different technical and economical behaviours, namely raw material and debitage management, are underlined between both refuges and lead to an interesting hypothesis about the behaviours of these humans of the Middle Paleolithic.
