⺠A continuous sequence of Holocene soil erosion in the French Prealps. ⺠Organic and elemental geochemistry tracks provenance source and erosion processes. ⺠Well-documented phases of lake-dwelling recorded in open lacustrine environment. ⺠Previously unknown phases of human impacts during the Bronze, Iron and Roman periods. ⺠Molecular biomarkers suggest regional agrarian practices since the Bronze Age.
