Abstract
⺠Evidence for wool selection in Bronze Age Europe. ⺠Improvement of wool quality in Iron Age wools from Hallstatt. ⺠Higher degree of selection established in textiles with special patterns or weaving techniques. ⺠Special wools were imported to Hallstatt. ⺠Scandinavian Bronze Age wools differ significantly from contemporary wools from Central Europe.
