Abstract
► We detect a health advantage in Aussiedler with the lowest duration of stay. ► Health of Aussiedler deteriorates by increasing length of stay. ► High centrality and a low GDP depress health of both Aussiedler and native Germans. ► Proportion of foreigners in a residential region does not have any consistent effect. ► Contrary to native Germans, Aussiedler show no steep educational gradient in health.
