Abstract
⺠We identify county-level determinants of dental utilization for vulnerable children. ⺠County-level poverty was associated with lower probability of dental utilization. ⺠Children in counties with dentist shortages were less likely to utilize dental care. ⺠There were significant interactions between raceÃpoverty and disabilityÃunemployment. ⺠County-level factors are important determinants of dental utilization for children.
