Abstract
⺠The article reviews global forest governance challenges and four case studies. ⺠I conduct a glocal (global local global) analysis of the win-win potential of REDD+. ⺠REDD+ may be a win-win solution if it can be designed to fit into local contexts. ⺠It may also be 'lose-lose' if glocal forest governance cannot address drivers. ⺠This may exacerbate North-South conflicts and further marginalize the vulnerable.
