Vulnerability of small island fishery economies to climate and institutional changes

► Small island developing states are vulnerable to climate variability and change. ► But SIDS are simultaneously vulnerable to institutional and environmental changes. ► The major mechanisms of SIDS' exposure and sensitivity are summarised in this article. ► Connections between environmental and socioeconomic change must be better understood.
