Abstract
⺠Fisheries collapses and stock declines constitute a moral failure of humanity. ⺠Compliant and sustainable fisheries are strongly correlated in a Rapfish analysis. ⺠A robust ethical matrix is constructed to evaluate the ethical status of fisheries. ⺠A complete overhaul of fisheries laws, policy goals and management tools is urged. ⺠Ethically based collaborative governance can sustain fisheries.
