Abstract
⺠The paper evaluates alternative national REDD+ architectures. ⺠Issues concern legitimacy, sector coordination, transaction costs and corruption. ⺠Given goals, we find the market/project based structure to be the weakest. ⺠A REDD+ fund under the national administration seems most promising. ⺠In some situations separate funds or conditional budget support may be favorable.
