Abstract
⺠We downscale IPCC SRES land-use scenarios to ecological regions of the U.S. ⺠Scenarios are developed at hierarchical scales for all major LULC sectors. ⺠Scenario projections result in a wide range of future LULC conditions. ⺠Competition for land use will impact ecoregions with abundant natural resources. ⺠Economically oriented scenarios result in high demand for competing land uses.
