Abstract
⺠Agricultural adaptations are most developed for imminent and familiar stresses. ⺠Agricultural adaptations are most often individual and reactive. ⺠Novel threats challenge managers to adopt proactive and collective adaptations. ⺠Actions to change exposure and sensitivity are more effective to reduce vulnerability, but smaller, more short-term adaptations in farming and winemaking are much more common.
