Abstract
⺠Hydrothermally carbonized biochar can be an excellent adsorbent of U(VI). ⺠The U(VI) sorption reaction onto biochar was fast and followed H-type isotherm. ⺠Using biochar for U(VI) remediation can be an environmental-friendly option.
