Abstract
⺠Highly fluorinated phosphine oxides are studied as extractants for toxic metals and radioisotopes. ⺠Excellent extraction is seen for a number of toxic metals. ⺠Bidentate phosphine oxides are good for extracting uranium and Fe(III) {as a model for Pu(IV)}.
