Abstract
⺠The paper explores the extent to which tolerance acts as an antidote to post-politics. ⺠Many types of tolerance are subjugating, power-laden and condescending. ⺠But certain forms of tolerance can remove some of the barriers to genuine politics. ⺠The paper identifies factors pertinent to the geographical analysis of this issue. ⺠It emphasises particularly the importance of socially mapping post-politicisation.
