Abstract
⺠A dimeric xyloglucanase was secreted in Aspergillus nidulans strain A773 (pyrG89). ⺠The XegA far-UV CD spectrum indicated a protein rich in β-sheet structures. ⺠The XegA thermal stability revealed transition temperature at 50.8 °C and 70 °C. ⺠The monomeric form was more active than the dimer by hydrodynamic behavior.
