Abstract
⺠Brucipain/rhodesain undergoes substrate inhibition by allostery. ⺠Suceptibility to substrate inhibiton is regulated by temperature. ⺠Enzyme conformational changes regulate suceptibility to substrate inhibiton. ⺠Heparan sulfate prevents substrate inhibition through interaction with the enzyme. ⺠Enzyme downmodulation via allostery prevents fibrinogen degradation.
