Abstract
												⺠SMN can be phosphorylated by protein kinase A in vivo and in vitro. ⺠SMN is phosphorylated at five sites by protein kinase A. ⺠Mutation of protein kinase A sites affects association of SMN with Gemin2 and Gemin8.
