Abstract
⺠Ph-2/2HbO is fundamental for the bacterium to grow under stress conditions. ⺠In vitro, the ferric Ph-2/2HbO form is able to catalyse peroxynitrite isomerisation. ⺠Ph-2/2HbO without the N-terminus does not contribute to NO detoxification.
