Abstract
⺠This work outlines methodologies used for the determination of Se in mushrooms. ⺠Data on average Se determined by different measurement techniques are displayed. ⺠Biased reported on Se are likely due to impropriate selection of method. ⺠Care is needed when using and citing analytical results published on Se in mushrooms. ⺠This is to prevent propagation of Se data in fungi that are imprecise and inaccurate.
