Abstract
⺠Identification of carotenoids in extracts from byproduct of cashew apple processing. ⺠Among 11 carotenoids the main ones were auroxanthin and β-cryptoxanthin. ⺠Extract concentration by microfiltration led to epoxy-furanoxy rearrangement. ⺠Total carotenoid content of the concentrated extract reached 54 mg/kg. ⺠Carotenoid content of final product was 10 times higher than in cashew apple.
