Abstract
⺠Developing fruits of V. pompona ssp. grandiflora were analysed. ⺠Glucovanillin and phenolics were monitored through a validated HPLC-DAD method. ⺠ESI-MS confirmed the identity of four glucosides and seven aglycones. ⺠High contents of vanillin and 4-hydroxybenzyl and anisyl alcohols were revealed. ⺠Amazonian fruits and commercial vanilla showed different chemical profiles.
