Abstract
⺠The L. japonica leaves were subjected to screen the antibacterial compounds. ⺠The most active fraction was attributed to J3B2. ⺠Five bacteriostatic constituents were isolated. ⺠Secoxyloganin was isolated for the first time from leaves. ⺠Dicaffeoyl quinic acid exhibited the highest activity.
