Abstract
⺠Medium pressure liquid chromatography is used to purify punicalin in large scale. ⺠Punicalin show strong antioxidant activity. ⺠Punicalin show much weaker protein-precipitating capacity than punicalagin. ⺠Interaction mechanisms of punicalin or punicalagin with protein are explained.
