Abstract
⺠A new approach for determination of low concentrations of the tartrazine dye in foodstuffs is presented. ⺠New carbon paste and coated silver wire electrodes for determination of tartrazine dye were designed. ⺠No potentiometric sensors were found for the determination of tartrazine dye. ⺠The limit of detection of the developed electrodes are 3.2 Ã 10â7 and 5.5 Ã 10â8 M. ⺠Electrodes showed accurate and reproducible detection of tartrazine in foodstuff products.
