Abstract
⺠Polyphenol-rich extracts from berries potently inhibited α-glucosidase activity in vitro. ⺠The extracts acted synergistically with the pharmaceutical glucosidase inhibitor, acarbose. ⺠The phenolic components may find use as nutracueticals for blood glucose control in type 2 diabetics.
