Abstract
⺠Ethyl acetate fraction obtained from the hot water extract of Picea mariana bark. ⺠Isolation and chemical characterisation of major compounds present in this fraction. ⺠Major identified compounds are neolignans and lignans. ⺠The trans-resveratrol content is higher than that reported for other sources. ⺠This is the first exhaustive report cataloguing polyphenols in P. mariana bark.
