Abstract
⺠The fate of resveratrol in the presence of HOCl or HOBr was determined. ⺠Eight chlorinated and brominated resveratrols were formed in the reactions. ⺠Halogenation of resveratrol increased its anti-hemolysis activity. ⺠Halogenation of resveratrol can modify its antimicrobial profile.
