Abstract
⺠Characterise naringin and neohesperidin in four tissues of Huyou fruit. ⺠Simultaneous purification of naringin and neohesperidin from Huyou albedo. ⺠Naringin or neohesperidin treatment increased consumption of glucose in HepG2 cells. ⺠Both naringin and neohesperidin can increase phosphorylation of AMPK. ⺠Naringin or neohesperidin from Huyou may act as potential hypoglycaemic agents.
