Enrichment of eggs in n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids by feeding hens with different amount of linseed oil in diet

► Addition of linseed oil in feed did not influence the egg production parameters. ► Linseed oil significantly affected the ratio of n-6/n-3 FAs in eggs. ► Shortly after adding linseed oil into feed, the reduction of the ratio was noticed. ► The cholesterol content wasn't influenced by addition of linseed oil in feed.
