Abstract
⺠Rutin and esculin were polymerised. ⺠Oligorutins were obtained through C-C, CO and C-C linkages. ⺠Oligoesculins were obtained through C-C linkages. ⺠Oligorutin and oligoesculin fractions show no mutagenicity using “Ames test”. ⺠Oligomers show high antimutagenic effects against positive controls using “Ames assay”.
